Competition Cheer
Welcome to MCYA Competitive Cheer! We are so excited to grow our program and offer athletes the opportunity to compete while representing the Raiders.
Competitive cheer is different from sideline cheerleading in both structure and commitment. While the environment is always positive and fun, practices are more structured and disciplined to ensure safety, skill progression, and team success.

What is Recreational Competitive Cheer?
Unlike all-star programs, MCYA offers recreational competitive cheer. This means athletes can have the chance to compete at regional and national competitions while still being part of a community-based program. The competition season requires a much larger commitment than sideline cheer, but is also gives athletes the opportunity to perform, grow theis skills, and experience the excitement of competition.
