About MCYA

Building Character Through Sports

Our Mission

The Madison County Youth Association (MCYA) is dedicated to promoting, encouraging, and supporting athletic programs for the children and youth of the Madison County community. Through our programs, we aim to instill the values of good sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.

MCYA’s goals include teaching proper athletic skills and techniques, encouraging physical fitness, and providing a safe, fun, and structured environment. We emphasize not only the joy of competition and accomplishment but also the importance of recognizing one’s limitations, learning from defeat, and celebrating both individual and team successes.

About Our Programs

MCYA offers football and cheerleading programs for children from 6U through 7th grade. We are proud members of the North Georgia Youth Football Association (NGYFA) and follow all NGYFA rules and guidelines. Our programs focus on fundamentals, character development, and teamwork—all while ensuring a positive and supportive experience for every participant.

Our Community

MCYA is entirely volunteer-driven. Our board members, coaches, and team staff generously donate their time and energy to make these programs successful. We strongly encourage parents to get involved—whether by assisting coaches, helping team moms, or simply showing up to cheer on our athletes.

Your support helps create a positive environment filled with encouragement and strong role models, which is vital to your child’s growth and confidence. Together, let’s make this a fun, memorable, and rewarding season for all our football players and cheerleaders!
