Age Group Move-Up Request

If you would like to request that your athlete move to an older age group, please complete the form below.
Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee approval. All move-up requests will be reviewed and decided by the MCYA Board.

Age Group Move-Up Request Form

This form allows parents/guardians to request that their child be considered to move up to an older age group in football or cheer. Requests should be based on the child’s advanced skills, maturity, or physical readiness. All requests are subject to review by coaches and league officials. Parent consent and acknowledgment of increased risks are required.

Please Note: NGYFA will only allow aging up one (1) age group for Football. MCYA encourages only aging up two (2) age groups for cheerleading. Each situation will be evaluated by the MCYA board. You will be notified of the decision by June 1.
